Hi there. Wanted confirm that the box is waterproof and treated and could cope with being in an open area in the elements without being under cover?

These are designed for outdoor use, however full exposure to the elements will obviously reduce their lifespan.
Durability can be improved by regular cleaning, & treatment with an outdoor timber stain.

Its pretty durable but i would not recommend using it as a seat
