Is this item blue tooth or live? And what is the distance it can travel before it is unable to be detected? Thanks

Hi Nina, this product does not have Bluetooth functionality. Theoretically, the error range of GPS satellite is 0-500 meters. The actual positioning algorithm depends on the environment where the machine is located. Overcast, rainy, cloudy and windy weather, indoors, and high buildings around are all factors that affect positioning. Hope these information would help. :)

Hi Vian Wei from Zeaway, Thank you for your reply. We live in a semi-rural part of Motueka, Tasman... where there are a few houses, yet more land with orchards etc around. We have a cellphone tower not far from us. Yet we are with Starlink internet (we get our internet straight from the satellite. I understand about the weather and high buildings etc affecting tracking. Yet... other than that... I gather that this product will work well? What do you mean by the 'Error' range? Also, the range 0 - 500 metres, is that distance taken from my phone? or will there be another device stationed at home that it will work from? To clarify, does this product track straight from the satellite? And it will work on a Samsung Android phone? I am looking at purchasing 2 of these.

Hello Nina, I apologize for any confusion regarding the 'Error' range. This product is equipped with GPS positioning capabilities. The effective tracking distance of GPS has no theoretical limit, but due to external factors, there may be an error of 0-500 meters. Additionally, the product is compatible with Android phones. I hope this information is helpful. :)
